We exist to carry on and honor the legacy of our parents in service to the Anderson, SC community for future generations focusing on the underserved who need transportation to obtain preventive and ongoing colorectal and dialysis care.

Our Vision

We envision South Carolina communities thriving. We strive to witness community members living a healthy lifestyle and working together to improve the community and promote health.

Joe and Daisy Louise Witcher Family Legacy Foundation, Incorporated is a non-profit 501©-3 organization in South Carolina. The organization is founded with the intention to help the deprived population, especially those diagnosed with chronic medical conditions. The organization works in partnership with the Anderson Free Clinic and Fresenius Dialysis Clinics of Anderson, SC to provide transportation assistance to the underserved community of Anderson County, SC. We focus on meeting the colorectal appointments and dialysis transportation needs of those we serve. We gather a team of compassionate volunteers who can commit to helping the population we serve receive the highest quality of healthcare services regardless of their financial status.

Meet Our Team

Evelyn Pominville

Evelyn Pominville

Born in Anderson SC. to the late Joe and Daisy Witcher, Married to Jon Pominville I have one son Octavis Witcher. Graduate of Southern Wesleyan University. You can find me volunteering in the community by feeding our less fortunate Wednesday’s at Freedom Center Church; Distributing donated clothes and offering information on how to obtain needed community services and always sharing words of encouragement. Involved in foreign missions through affiliation in South Africa.

Sony Williams

Sony Williams
Married to my wife Christina Williams over 20 years. We have two children Sydney and Thomas Williams. I attend Fairview A.M.E. church where I am a Steward, and sing on the men and junior steward choirs. I have two associate degrees from Tri-County Technical College, and I work for Electrolux home products in the Reliability and Engineering laboratory. Also, I volunteer my skills in service to my church members and help the elderly in the community performing tasks like cutting wood, helping financially, and praying with the sick.

Marcus D Brown

Marcus D. (Marc) Brown
A native of Anderson, SC, honorary native of New Orleans, LA. I have five children and five grandchildren. Love to garden and travel.

Patti Wentz

Patti Wentz
I have lived in Anderson County for 38 years. I am a Master’s-prepared nurse with 30 years of nursing experience primarily in critical and emergency care. I have served as a bedside nurse, manager, and director throughout my nursing career. I currently serve as Clinical Effective Manager at AnMed Cannon in Pickens where I have the responsibility for Patient Safety, Quality Management, Risk Management, Infection Prevention, Change Management, and Accreditation.

I have served in my community and church in various capacities. I have served on the board at Springbrook for their Havenwood Autism division. For the past 24 years I have also been a deacon and now serve as an elder on the board at Freedom Center Assembly of God. I also mentor ladies with life-controlling issues.

I have been married for nearly 40 years (February 4) and have 2 sons, 2 daughters-in-law, 3 grandchildren, and a puppy.

Todd-Gardner

Todd Gardner
I am married to Tina Gardner for the past 29 years. We have 5 children, 3 boys and 2 girls and I have 9 grandkids. I retired from the Rock Hill Police Department after 31 years. I am currently a Nuclear Security officer with Duke Energy. I own a small Firearms business and I am an avid hunter.
